In 2025, we took a more traditional editorial approach. Each edition blended company news and product updates with thought leadership, supporting assets, and customer success stories. It was informative, broad, and designed to showcase momentum across the business.
In 2026, we intentionally changed course.

Instead of covering many topics lightly, the newsletter has become a space for depth. Each edition now focuses on a single theme explored through long-form thought leadership, authored directly by our CEO. The goal wasn’t promotion, it was clarity. Creating room to unpack complex questions around AI, fairness, authenticity, and trust in hiring, without dilution or distraction.

The Hiring Trends Report: 2026 | Willo®

For the third year in a row, Willo tracked the evolution of hiring through our annual research. For the 2026 report, I led the strategy, oversaw the survey design and execution, and guided the development and promotion of the final report.

Across three years of data, a clear story has emerged. In 2024, AI in hiring was marked by uncertainty. In 2025, that uncertainty gave way to skepticism. And in 2026, we saw a decisive shift: AI has moved from experimental to essential.

The focus isn’t just on outcomes, but on intent: why they chose to challenge traditional hiring norms, how they’ve designed better candidate experiences, and what they’ve learned along the way. These stories are a way to elevate our customers’ voices while sharing practical, real-world examples of what thoughtful hiring looks like in action.
